The Politics of the New Balkan Economy

This Summit takes place shortly after the new Commission enters into office and the European Parliament welcomes its new members. The event will therefore serve as an opportunity to put the Balkans and their relationship with the European Union back on the EU’s agenda.

Three main questions lie in front of us: “Have we achieved permanent stability in the region?”, “What has been and still has to be done to provide a positive environment for the economy?” and finally “How is the prospect for sustainable cross-border cooperation in the region?”.

The Summit will offer a key moment to debate the future of the Balkans before an audience of high-level opinion formers and key players in commerce.
