Our aim in this seminar is to contribute to the current debate on how to deal with the past in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We would like to introduce the notion of restorative justice in this debate and to explore, through the presentations and joint discussions, the potential of a restorative approach to dealing with the past in Bosnia and Herzegovina in such a way that it may promote justice, sustainable peace and the rebuilding of trust.
This Seminar is part of the wider framework of a research project currently carried out at and funded by the University of Leuven entitled "Restorative Justice and Mass Victimisation. Case studies in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina".
